Creative Requirements

  • Include a clear audio call-to-action (e.g., visit a site, download an app, call or email)
  • Companion banner that compliments the audio content and reinforces the brand message. Offers enhanced measurement for the campaign, but click-through rates may be lower than traditional display ads due to audio-only impressions, especially in mobile and in-car environments

Audio Audience Extension Specifications

  • Up to two audio creative:
    30-second commercials (55–75 words) - required15-second commercials (40 words) - optional
  • Companion Banners:
    Image Format: PG, PNG or JPG.Image Dimensions: 300x250 (required), 320x50 and 728x90 (optional).Max file size: 750KBResolution: The creative must high resolution. (Minimum of 72 pixels per inch. 144 pixels per inch recommended.)

Supported File Formats: OGA, MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, AAC. Recommended to include both MP3 (or M4A) and OGA file types in your tag

  • API Framework: VAST 2.0+ supported. More info on impression tracking here.
  • Max File Size: <500MB, smaller is better
  • Bit Rate: Publisher dependent, 128–160 Kbps recommended.

Call to Action: Place at the end of the ad (e.g., "Download the app," "Call this number," "Visit our website").

Note: Click rates may be lower than traditional display ads, as in-car and on-the-go impressions are audio-only. There is no way to differentiate how many impressions were served with or without the companion banner.
